Hospital de San Francisco de Asis is such a great stop along the way. It is a very basic place to stay with mats on the floor serving as beds. But that is where the basic ends. Today I am sharing a room with people from Germany, Spain, Hungary, Korea, and Italy the best part is that I am the only American.
After a nice lunch at the bar across the I took a nice nap. A first on this camino but totally sweet.
Then we were treated to a tour of the hermatige of Santa Maria Piña. It is built into the rock cliffs above Tosantos.
We were not allowed to take pictures inside. The lady who showed it to us said it was only for our heads and our hearts. It was a beautiful chapel inside.
After dinner we all went upstairs to the chapel for a prayer service.
The prayers are said by people in their own language. It is very moving.
I had the best night sleep yet. Even though I was sleeping on a mat on the floor I slept great.
